The new episode of AMC's The Walking Dead aired on Sunday night, and it looks like Rick and the group of survivors are finally headed toward safety. After traveling for nearly two years, and enduring some of the most dangerous conditions, it looks like safety is nearby.

Will The Survivors On 'The Walking Dead' Find Safety In New Episode?

During Sunday night's new episode, Aaron desperately tries to convince the survivors to travel back with him to the Alexandria Safe Zone. Rick, who is already skeptical of the lone traveler, is extremely worried that Aaron could be a trap that could potentially bring danger to him and the rest of the group.

Clearly Rick is paranoid, so he knocks Aaron out, and later in the episode threatens to kill him with a knife saying, "We may be good people, but that doesn't mean we won't kill you.

'The Walking Dead' Fans React To Tyreese's Death & Shocking New Episodes

As the episode goes on, somehow Aaron still hasn't given up, but the team learns that he has been spying on them and listening in on their conversations. Michonne becomes extremely suspicious and thinks they need to get rid of him.

Eventually the team took a vote, and after outvoting Rick, the survivors decided to check out Alexandria.

It's clear that Rick isn't happy about them traveling to the safe zone, and his stubborn attitude almost got him, Aaron, Glenn and Michonne killed when they came across a huge group of walkers.

Luckily, they were able to escape another causality and they were able to save Aaron's boyfriend, Eric.

The group finally reaches the gates of Alexandria, and the group can hear the sound of children's laughter as they approach. This could mean that they're is finally safe and can now relax while enjoying being free from danger.

It's unsure how the new episode will play out, so be sure to check in for more spoilers.
