Singer Fiona Apple is the latest celebrity to be busted for marijuana in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

Apple was arrested for hashish possession by police in the west Texas town on Wednesday, Sept. 19, and spent the night in the Hudspeth County jail, according to the Daily Mail. She was bonded out on Thursday, said Rusty Fleming, spokesperson for the Sierra Blanca sheriff's office.

Sierra Blanca is the same location where Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and actor Armie Hammer have also been recently busted for marijuana possession.

A check point in Sierra Blanca inspects thousands of vehicles each day, resulting in thousands of drug cases. A drug-sniffing canine smelled marijuana in Apple's tour bus on Wednesday.

Fleming said the singer "had a little tiny amount of pot and hash," according to the Daily Mail. Ambrosia Healy, Apple's publicist, has not yet commented on the arrest.

Apple is on tour promoting her newest album, "The Idler Wheel..." (The album's full title is 23 words long). "Idler Wheel" has continued Apple's streak of critical acclaim. The album received a score of 89 out of 100 on review aggregator Metacritic, signaling universal success.

Apple first burst on the music scene in 1997 with her hit song "Criminal," from her debut album "Tidal." The music video sparked controversy as it showed a rail-thin Apple writhing around in skimpy attire.
