Miranda Lambert may get to move all over the country, but the Somethin' Bad singer will always have a soft spot in her heart when it comes to her home state.

Why Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Might Want To Look Less Famous

"Growing up in Texas has always given me a sense of pride of my state," explained the singer to The St. Augustine Record on Feb. 21. "My parents instilled that into me at an early age."

A woman of humble beginnings, Lambert hasn't always felt comfortable with her massive fame. Nonetheless, she acknowledges that her success has allowed her to perform when and where she pleases.

"I guess the good news is that as I grow, I get to play bigger venues," she admitted. "More room means more people can come and sing along to my songs, which is still one of the biggest thrills there is for me.

Lambert began her 2015 Certified Platinum Tour in January and has been having a ball ever since. "I love my production," she gushed. "And the set I have, it's edgy, a little girlie, and platinum of course. Part of my stage is a big M that's lit up."

The singer has put together a set of both old and new songs to please the crowd. According to the official tour schedule, Lambert's next stop will be the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. on Thursday. After that she's hopping over to North Little Rock, Ark. for a performance on Friday and Tulsa, Okla. for another show on Saturday.

Fortunately for Lambert, the singer will get a few days off after that before resuming her tour in March with stops in Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.

The country star's tour will come to an end on Aug. 7 with a final show at WE Fest.
