Biggs, who plays Piper Chapman's (Taylor Schilling) former fiancé Larry on Orange Is the New Black, announced to the New York Daily News last week that he would not star in the third season this summer.

"They're not focusing on Larry at the moment," Biggs explained. "Larry will not be in season three. But there's always a possibility he can come back."

The report says that Netflix confirmed Biggs won't be in the new season.

As Biggs noted, however, he may be back in a future season. After all, the real life Piper, Piper Kerman, got back together with the real-life Larry after her stay in prison.

At the moment, however, many Orange Is the New Black are more than happy that Larry will not show up at any point in season 3. Just a search on Twitter will find hundreds of OITNB fans celebrating over Biggs not being in the third season.

Larry has been mocked and hated openly since the beginning of the show, and his character has displayed some pretty objectionable behavior up to this point. Near the end of season 2, he hooked up with Piper's best friend Polly (Maria Dizzia) and the two began dating. They even went to Piper's prison to ask for her "blessing."

Orange Is the New Black returns for its third season (without Biggs) in mid-2015 on Netflix, though the streaming network has not yet announced a specific release date.
