After Witches of East End got cancelled, a petition has been going around that won't stop receiving signatures to bring the show back.

Good & Bad News On 'Witches Of East End' Possible Renewal

As of Tuesday, the petition is currently at more than 122,000 signatures from fans with a goal at 130,000. While that might seem like a lot to get 8,000 more people to sign, it appears that that may be a possibility.

Last week, the link had 120,000. So after just seven days 2,000 more signatures made it. Perhaps, in the next month, give or take, there might be a total of 130,000 depending on how many more people are willing to try to give the series a renewal.

Is There Going To Be Closure For 'Witches Of East End?'

With that being said though, the petition's goal doesn't necessarily guarantee anything. It can definitely help, but the main thing it can do is bring the attention to other networks who might be willing to put the show back up.

The supernatural drama lasted for only two seasons on Lifetime. Unfortunately, it didn't survive due to a lack of viewers, which creates financial difficulties to keep it on the air.

"People just don't sit down and watch shows live anymore. They DVR it, they stream it, they watch it on Netflix or iTunes," Madchen Amick, who previously played Wendy on the series, previously told EnStars. "It's just unfortunate that a network only makes their profit off of live viewership because their hands are tied by advertisers. They may believe in the show and want it to continue, but they just unfortunately can't afford it."
