Jessica Simpson Baby: New Photos of 4-Month-Old Maxwell on Johnson's 33rd Birthday

Jessica Simpson shared new photos of her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on Twitter.

The singer tweeted pictures of her 4-month-old baby on Thursday where their family was celebrating the birthday of Simpson's partner Eric Johnson. He turned 33.

"Last year at Daddy's party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she's in my arms," Simpson tweeted.

"Daddy's 33rd Birthday!" she added.

Simpson faced backlash last week when she showed a photo of her baby wearing a bikini on the premiere show of "Katie," Katie Couric's new TV show.

"It is to be hoped that parents will understand that 'baby bikinis' are totally inappropriate, and that they contribute to the sexualisation and commercialisation of childhood. We should not be compromising the sanctity of our children's early years," said Claude Knight, director of charity Kidscape, according to the Daily Mail.

Simpson also caused negative reactions on Twitter.

"Jessica Simpson posts a photo of her 4-month-old baby in a BIKINI - wrong wrong wrong," one Twitter user wrote.

Another added, "A baby in a bikini?! Dear God, some people are just wrong!"
