Fox released a new sneak peek of the next episode of Glee, which includes interviews with Colfer (who plays Kurt) and Criss (Blaine). The actors talked about how Kurt and Blaine's relationship, a.k.a. "Klaine" has evolved and become so popular among the show's dedicated fans.

"This is something that kind of grew legs of its own and it has now become not so much the relationship that our characters have on the show, but, like, this other creature," Criss explains in the video.

"It's like the Kraken!" Colfer quips.

"It's this monstrous thing that can do big things - but it's also a little scary!" Criss adds.

Kurt and Blaine's love story, which now includes their nuptials, has been very groundbreaking in terms of showing gay love on television. The importance of this storyline is not lost on Colfer.

"What I think is groundbreaking is the response that our characters got," Colfer says. "That is what is truly groundbreaking about this story - the love that straight people, gay people and just the world had for all this."

Neither Colfer nor Criss could have imagined what their roles on Glee would eventually turn into, but they are grateful to have been a part of it.

Glee airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
