Taylor Armstrong Talks Return To 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Season 5

After joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills years ago, Armstrong's late husbamd, Russell, was accused of beating her throughout their marriage, and during a luncheon in Florida earlier this month, the former reality star disclosed new details of the abuse.

“The first time my husband choked me, I was pregnant,” Armstrong said, according to a report by CBS 12 on Monday. "I felt that the cameras would offer some protection."

Armstrong appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-time housewife during seasons 1, 2 and 3, and in a recurring role on seasons 4 and 5.

During an episode of the show, amid claims of domestic abuse, Armstrong got into an argument with Camille Grammer, during which she said, "We don't say that he hit you."

After the allegation of Russell's abuse aired on the show, Armstrong filed for divorce. However, before their divorce was finalized, Russell committed suicide, leaving Armstrong to raise their young daughter, Kennedy, alone.

Years later, Armstrong married attorney John Bluher, and the pair appeared on VH1's Couples Therapy

Also during the luncheon, Armstrong revealed that even after a woman leaves a situation where she is being abused, the fight continues.

“Once they leave, there is so much that has to be done," she added.
