Hough, who joined the judging panel on Dancing With the Stars in season 19, told Parade in a new interview that there is going to be a twist where she and her fellow judges (Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli) will work with the new celebs.

"There's going to be something where the judges work with the competitors. They're still figuring that out, but I know that they're going to try new things that they've never done before," Hough revealed.

As for whether or not she would be "stirring up controversy" in the new season, she suggested that whatever she says is essentially coming from a good place.

"Whatever I say comes from a place of love. So I hope that if there is controversy, they know that it's coming from a good place," she said.

Hough said that she decided to come back to Dancing With the Stars as a judge instead of a dancer to allow her more time to pursue other career options at the same time.

"Being a dancer is a big commitment and it didn't allow me time to focus on other aspects of my career. Being a judge is a great way to be a part of the show, but still have time for my other dreams and aspirations," she said.

Dancing With the Stars returns for season 20 on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
