They've been married longer than most celebrity couples, but it looks like LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian might be going through what many call a "7 year itch." A new report suggests that the married couple is in "a rut" and that Rimes is "freaking out" about their current situation.

According to Star Magazine's print edition this week (via Celebitchy) Cibrian has "checked out" of the marriage while Rimes is trying to make things work, despite their differences.

A source close to the couple told the magazine, "They're in a rut and she's freaking out. It's like Eddie doesn't want to be alone with her for any extended amount of time. It's a shock to her ego... she doesn't want Eddie's eye to wander, so she's doing anything she can to keep him happy in the bedroom."

The insider goes on to say that Rimes went as far as spending $1,000 worth of lingerie and candles during a recent shopping spree at Victoria's Secret, but despite her efforts, nothing is working.

Meanwhile, Cibrian has finally landed a full time job in Hollywood. He has been cast on a sitcom along with Monica Potter in a yet-to-be titled project.

According to Variety on Thursday, Cibrian will be joining Donald Faison, Josh Hopkins and Rory Scovel in the new show. All three men will be playing Potter's ex-husbands. The sitcom will revolve around her relationships with each ex - who she also shares children with - and her new boyfriend.

Cibrian will play the first ex-husband, who is described as a "slick professional gambler" who is still rather territorial even after their divorce.
