Matt McGorry recently previewed what's ahead for his character Bennett on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black in season 3.

McGorry, who plays prison guard John Bennett on Orange Is the New Black, spoke with Wetpaint Entertainment about the third season recently.

While the actor did not reveal much specific, he seemed to be very positive about what's coming up for Bennett.

"There is a moment in one of the episodes in Season 3 that was definitely my most creatively fulfilling episode," he teased. "A lot happens in it. For me on Orange Is the New Black, I got to show so many different colors and range, that it felt wonderful. It felt like it really rounded out the character and helped us understand a little bit more about where Bennett comes from."

Asked if this meant fans were finally being treated to Bennett's backstory, he simply said, "Could be."

At the moment, Bennett is embroiled in covering up the fact that he was the one who impregnated Daya (Dascha Polanco). In the season 2 finale he finally came clean to Caputo (Nick Sandow), who told him to essentially keep it quiet. The pregnancy scandal was already sufficiently dealt with when Pornstache (Pablo Schreiber) thought he was the father of Daya's baby and was subsequently arrested.

It remains to be seen what will become of Bennett though based on McGorry's responses it may be his most interesting season yet.

Orange Is the New Black returns for its third season in mid-2015 on Netflix, though the streaming company has not yet announced a specific release date.
