The reveal that his husband, Will (Guy Wilson) and his ex-boyfriend, Paul (Christopher Sean) slept together crushed Sonny (Freddie Smith), and now he will be forced to figure out what the affair may mean for his marriage on Days of Our Lives.

Sonny Leaving Salem?

He has already confronted his husband about cheating, and since then, things have been tense between the two as the other underlying problems in their marriage continued to bring more issues up. However, after talking through a lot of stuff-including Will originally deserting Sonny to head to Hollywood for a few months, as well as Sonny's poor business decision to funnel all of their savings into his now failed South Side club-things seemed to be slightly improving for them and they seemed willing to make an attempt at working things out.

However, now, Paul will meet up with Sonny again for the first time since he accidentally spilled the beans that he had slept with his husband, and any positive vibes and potential reconciling between Sonny and Will could be destroyed after Paul asks Sonny an uncomfortable question about the state of his marriage overall.

Will Begs For Sonny's Forgiveness

Whatever transpires between the former lovers could even persuade Sonny to get out of town for himself for a little while she he can clear his head and make some big decisions about what he really wants in the future. If he leaves, he could choose to either file for divorce when he returns, or may make a more heart-breaking decision.
