5 Seconds of Summer Declares Love For Tokyo After Playing First Ever Headlining Gig There

The Australian band headed to Japan the weekend of Feb. 20 for their first ever headlining gig on Feb. 25. Plus, they just wrapped opening four shows for One Direction's On the Road Again Tour.

They played the last gig March 2 (it's already March 3 in Japan) and over the last few days the band has shared many photos from their trip. 

5 Seconds of Summer Lands In Japan

On March 2, the band dished on Twitter how much they have enjoyed being in Japan.

"SERIOUSLY we've had the best time ever here in Japan. Please have us back here again soon," they gushed.

On March 1, they snapped a of photo of themselves "Banding in Tokyo".

Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood even gave a brief video update that they were doing some promo in Japan.

Irwin, Hood, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford got their hands on a Polaroid camera while in Japan and have shared numerous Polaroid photos on Twitter.

Saturday, a Polaroid of Hood was shared on the band's Twitter page. They asked fans to caption it.

Before their gig Saturday, Irwin shared a photo of Hemmings.

Clifford shared a Polaroid of a Polaroid of himself.

Sunday, Irwin shared a Polaroid of himself with Hood and Hemmings hanging out on a couch.

He even dished that playing the shows they just played in Japan has him "so excited" for their Rock Out with Your Socks Out Tour, which will officially begin in May.
