From Mitch's return to even more screaming matches between famous gospel sensations and sisters Erica and Tina Campbell, it's safe to say the drama is at an all-time high. Hip Hollywood caught up with Erica who shed a little more light on what fans can expect to see this season.

She first revealed that Tina "wasn't so happy" when Erica branched out from duo Mary Mary and did her solo career. In fact, that's where the source of most of the drama came from.

"She wasn't so happy about me working on me. She wanted to work on Mary Mary so I had that decision like, 'Do I go on and say yes because it's convenient for her or do I do what works for me?"

Erica, who has released multiple solo hits like Little More Jesus Help,  continued and said that she decided to go her own route despite giving in to Tina's demands in the past and putting her own desires on the back burner.

"That was very, very challenging because even without music or without TV, I'm always the pliable one. 'Oh whatever you wanna do. However you feel.' And so I had to go, 'I don't wanna do that.' So it's tough."

She ended by saying she didn't even really get much support from her family.

"Even my family was like, 'You are wrong!' I was like, 'for real?' You'll see this journey as a solo artist was not an easy one. I really had to believe in myself. I really had to."
