Teen Mom star Maci Bookout isn't afraid to let people know that she's leaving the series because of Farrah Abraham's return.

'Teen Mom' star Flaunting Her Celebrity In NYC?

In January MTV revealed that Abraham, who was dropped from the show because of her risqué lifestyle choices in 2014, will be coming back to the series this year. The decision, however, resulted in an announcement that Bookout was preparing to leave the program.

"If we're watching one scene and he's [my son] in the front yard throwing baseball and then five seconds later they're at a strip club [with Farrah], to me that's just not appropriate," explained the 23-year-old during a sit-down with E! on Feb. 27. Bookout voiced concern about good parenting and how she felt a responsibility to her son to not associate them with Abraham's behavior.

Will Farrah Abraham's New Boyfriend Appear On 'Teen Mom' This Season?

Amber Portwood, who was in prison for most of Abraham's recent activities, didn't have much to say on the matter. Catelynn Lowell, however, agreed with Bookout's concerns over morality. "At first, for a little bit, we were kind of OK with it…" she explained. "[But] we are trying to educate girls about good things, not so much the sex industry part."

The sex industry has certainly been a major part of Abraham's career over the last few years. She's started her own sex toy line and in 2014 spent six months stripping at the Palazio Gentlemen's Club in Austin, Texas for "research" purposes. She's also penned a trilogy of erotic novels.

Abraham will make her feature film debut in the horror flick Axeman II: Overkill this spring.

Teen Mom OG will return on MTV for a new season on Monday, March 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
