Their marriage has been rocked by Will's (Guy Wilson) cheating, and as a result of their problems, Sonny (Freddie Smith) will drop a huge bombshell on his husband on Days of Our Lives.

Paul Asks Sonny An Uncomfotable Question

Sonny has been finding himself having a hard time forgiving his husband for sleeping with his ex-boyfriend, Paul (Christopher Sean) while writing his article on him, but Will has had his own reservations since the truth came out as well. While talking to Paul, he knew the star baseball player had a past love who had proposed marriage-but Paul had rejected him because he wasn't out.

When the truth about their hook-up came out, Will realized Sonny was the one who had proposed to Paul-and that the rejection hadn't been too long before they met. As a result, Will has been wondering if Sonny only married him because he had been eager to marry, and the man he truly loved wasn't available.

Is Sonny Leaving Salem?

Now, after Paul paid Sonny a visit before his release from the hospital, he wanted to know if Sonny had only married Will because they couldn't be together as well. Now, Sonny may admit that had been part of it at the time, crushing Will further.

Sonny's bombshell could also be something even more painful for his husband to hear. After realizing their problems may be too excessive to fix, he could decide the time has come to file for divorce. He could also decide to tell Will that he wants to leave town for a while to clear his head-meaning they won't be able to work together to try and resolve their issues.
