Many criticized her for her decision to air her marital struggles on her reality show Kendra on Top last year, but Kendra Wilkinson has since defended her actions.

In an appearance on the show Loose Women, Wilkinson explained that she couldn't keep the sensitive topic-her husband Hank Baskett's alleged affair with transsexual model Ava Sabrina London-off-limits because she needed to make sure their side of the story was actually told-something that wasn't being done by the media.

"Here's the thing. In a way, some weird way, I was almost forced by the press to put all this mess out there," she said. "I was not going to sit back and let the media and the press talk about what I'm going through and what my husband is going through."

"I felt like I deserved my voice and my story to be out there, rather than someone else's voice," she added.

Wilkinson also defended herself against critics who have claimed she fakes the drama in front of the cameras, insisting she would always be one -hundred percent truthful with her fans and the show's audience-and she believes that truthfulness will be what helps keep her show on the air for a long time coming.

"I would never let anyone tell me what to say and what is shown on my TV show," she said. "It's 100 percent organic and honest, and what you see is exactly my story."
