Latin Grammys 2012 Nominations Announced: Juan Luis Guerra Leads Nods with Six [LIST]

The Latin Grammy Awards 2012 nominees were announced Tuesday in Los Angeles with Dominican Republic singer and songwriter Juan Luis Guerra leading the nominations with six, followed by Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy with five.

Guerra's nominations include Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "En el cielo no hay hospital" ("There's No Hospital in Heaven") and Producer of the Year. Pop duo Jesse & Joy landed nods for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Corre!" ("Run!") and Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album  for "¿Con Quien se queda el Perro?" ("Who Keeps the Dog?) among others.

Singers Ricardo Arjona, Edgar Barrera, Juanes, Carla Morrison, Arturo Sandoval, Ivete Sangalo and Caetano Veloso all are up for four awards. Receiving three nominations were Chico Buarque, ChocQuibTown, Don Omar, Rafael Dragaud, Gregg Field, Javier Garza, Gilberto Gil, Ulises Hadjis, Roberto Talma, and Martin Terefe, among others.

The XIII Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 15, and will be broadcast live on  Univision at 8 p.m. ET/7 Central. 

This year, the four main categories (Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best New Artist) will include 10 nominations.
