The Originals star Phoebe Tonkin dished on her vampire boyfriend where she had only generous things to say.

Paul Wesley Reveals Something He's 'Always Wanted To Do'

On Monday, Elle posted an interview with the actress who's dating Paul Wesley, one of the stars of hit series The Vampire Diaries. When he was brought up, Tonkin seemed so happy that she could only describe him in so many words.

"He's my best friend," the actress said about her beau. "It's such a fun time in my life right now; it's nice to have someone to share all that with."

The 25-year-old then talked about living in Los Angeles and what it's like to work on a television; in her perspective, it's not that different from doing anything else.

"TV is a lot like having an office job: same crew, same people every day- it's like a family," she said. "I didn't move here to be on a job for three months and then sit around reading scripts and drinking coffee in L.A. the rest of the time. The quality of TV is so great now, and you get to do what you love every day. It's the closest thing to having a normal job."

Tonkin then opened up on filming the popular CW series in Atlanta, a place she thoroughly enjoys.

"I really love being there," she said. "As beautiful as L.A. is, it's so fixated on this industry. It's nice to be in the south, where people have other jobs and you don't feel like you're just talking about movies and directors all the time."
