As AMC's beloved ad agency drama comes to an end this spring, Slattery took the time to discuss the series, as well as his character's fate, with Vulture on Tuesday.

So where will Roger end up by the show's end? And what will become of him in the future?

Is Don Draper 'Going Somewhere' For Mad Men's Final Season?

When asked where Roger will be in 10 years, Slattery had an answer prepared. "That's easy, dead," he teased.

While the actor didn't have much to say about the show's upcoming season, he did have some thoughts on the program's earlier seasons.

In fact, there was one scene in particular which Slattery always wished had made it onto the show.

"Talia [Balsam] and I shot a scene that never aired," explained Slattery, referring to his real-life wife and the actress who plays Roger's wife, Mona.

"I wish they'd unearth that thing," Slattery continued. "It was a scene in a car. We were coming home from a dinner, the first dinner in that first episode with Don and Betty…[Roger and Mona] kind of go their separate ways after dinner and then debrief in the car and talk about how ridiculously attractive they were."

Slattery claimed that the scene had been very "funny" and would have been a great intro for Mona, though the scene was ultimately cut.

Mad Men will return on AMC for the remainder of its seventh and final season on Sunday, April 5.
