The Originals returns in less than a week and there's an all new clip revealing exactly what lies ahead for the show's newlyweds.

The CW released the first clip from the upcoming episode, They All Asked For You, on Tuesday (featured below). Apparently Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) are struggling to adapt to married life, even if they do care deeply for one another.

"You know I can help you with Hope right?" offered Jackson as Hayley looked after her baby daughter." If you want to take a break some time, I'm good with kids."

Hayley, perhaps guilt-ridden over having spent so much time away from her child, insisted that she could handle it. "I missed six months of her life. I don't mind."

Of course, figuring out how to raise Hope isn't the only issue. Apparently Jackson hasn't been spending much time with his wife for fear that she feels pressured to partake in their marriage.

"This isn't an obligation [to me]," insisted Hayley, though Jackson remained unconvinced of her true romantic feelings for him.

On top of their personal problems, Jackson is still in danger. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) doesn't trust the werewolf with his daughter and considering the hybrid's own issues when it comes to jealously and impulsive decision-making, things might just take a dark turn.

The Originals will return on The CW for the remainder of its second season Monday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
