It looks as though the Duggars are definitely the most controversial family of the celebrity world these days. Jill Duggar's husband Derick Dillard has recently been slammed by his social networking followers for apparently running over a cat with a homemade sled.

Dillard posted a clip of him sledding on a small baking sheet while supposedly trying to run over a cat in the snow. He captioned the video with, "Sledding with friends and family at the Duggar home :-) #smallestsled."

The 25-year-old father-to-be got slammed by his critics almost immediately with some commenting with, "You are disgusting," along with, "You claim to be Christian and you go and hurt one of God's creatures, I don't understand how you could be so hypocritical."

If that weren't enough, another Instagram follower wrote, "Interesting you call yourself a Godly person, but yet purposely try to hurt one of Gods creatures. What a complete jerk!"

Even with all the comments, there were a few that seemed to defend the reality television star as one fan wrote, "Oh my gosh people.. It wasn't intentional, I'm sure they expected the cat to move, since it is a cat. People need to relax and stop being so judgmental."

Dillard has not commented on all the criticism he's received, nor has he removed the clip from his Instagram account.

Duggar and Dillard are expecting their first child later this month.
