Starz is getting busy this month with production, DVD releases, as well as new episodes of some of its hottest shows.

Vanessa Ives Embracing Evil On 'Penny Dreadful'? 

The swashbuckling pirate drama Black Sails will continue on Starz with a new episode of its second season on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Though Black Sails is currently the only series airing a new season on the network, Starz did release two shows on DVD this week.

Glamorous Façade Hiding A Very Damaged Ani Bezzerides On 'True Detective'? 

On Wednesday Outlander came to DVD, which was likely intended to coincide with some of the new ads for the epic history series based on the books by Diana Gabaldon. The program, which ended with a major cliffhanger last fall, is set to return with new episodes on Saturday, April 4.

Also on DVD this week was the second season of Da Vinci's Demons, which was released on Tuesday.

The contemporary drama Power doesn't come back until this summer, but production for season 2 will continue through the end of the month.

Though many of the network's biggest shows are still in their early seasons, Starz is working hard to compete with long-reigning original programming giant HBO.

All of these programs are currently available on Starz Play and Starz On Demand. Fans interesting in looking back at older shows can also use these methods to binge-watch Magic City, The White Queen, and fan-favorite Spartacus.

The first season of the competition show The Chair, as well as the miniseries' Dancing On The Edge and The Missing, are also available via Starz Play and Starz On Demand.
