The murder case against former NFL football player Aaron Hernandez is still underway, and the procecutors continue to build a strong case that proves Hernandez is responsible for the shooting of his friend Odin Lloyd.

Testimony Reportedly Proves That Aaron Hernandez Exchanged Text Messages With Odin Lloyd

A state police trooper, who specializes in fingerprint analysis, testified on Tuesday that Hernandez's fingerprints were found inside of the rented Nissan Altima, the same car prosecutors believe Hernandez used to drive Lloyd to his death.

On Tuesday, ESPN reported that Massachusetts State Police Trooper David Mackin processed the fingerprints and he said that Lloyd's fingerprints were found on the handle of the right side of the passenger side door.

On Monday, Lloyd's sister testified that she saw her brother get into the back seat of the vehicle on the passenger side.

Based on their evidence, the prosecutors have concluded that Hernandez and his two friends Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, picked Lloyd up at his home in Boston, drove him to the industrial park, and shot him to death.

Mackin testified that Hernandez's fingerprints were found on the inside handle on the driver's side. Prints belonging to Ortiz and Wallace were also found in various places within the vehicle.

According to the site, Wallace's fingerprints were found on the inside driver's side window, the driver's side seatbelt and the front passenger inside door handle.

Ortiz's fingerprints were found on the inside rear passenger door handle.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges, and he currently remains in jail without bail.
