For Shannon Beador, there's a huge difference between living in a house and a home, and that's why she's desperate to sell her current residence. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has slashed the asking price of her mansion by another half million dollars.

According to Page Six on Wednesday, Shannon and her husband David Beador are having trouble selling their luxury home in the rather affluent Newport Coast area of Orange County. Their original asking price was $15,998,000 and are now asking $12,998,000 for the home.

The four-floor property is perfect for a Real Housewife, as it boasts an elevator, indoor basketball court, gym, pool, home theater and guesthouse. It also has a walk-in closet bigger than rivals the size of many New York City-area apartments.

According to Wetpaint last month, a source close to the couple said, "Shannon and David listed their home for sale because they had to downsize. They are not getting divorced, in fact they have already purchased land where they plan to build a new, more practical home."

The Real Housewives of Orange County - which also stars Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney Judge and Heather Dubrow - is slated to return to Bravo later this spring. Shannon hasn't made any comments on whether or not she will be returning to the show.
