Ryan Gosling Debuts New Ink In Honor Of His Daughter

The actress and fashion designer, who turns 41 March 5, was in New York's Times Square March 3 to shoot a new commercial for her fashion line at New York & Company stores, and wowed onlookers with her body.

Mendes wore a sixties-inspired floral-print shift dress from her collection for the shoot, which skimmed her thighs and accentuated her long legs and enviable curves. She finished her look off with nude pumps and a stylish up-do.

Mendes gave birth to her daughter with Ryan Gosling, Esmeralda Amada in September of last year, but the secretive couple's lack of being seen together in public, let alone with their daughter, has spurned endless rumors that they are once again on the verge of a break-up, the same kinds of rumors that have plagued them throughout their romance.

Back in January, rumors even flew that Mendes was suffering from Post-Partum Depression, and it was affecting her and Gosling's relationship negatively.

"It seems like she's suffering from the baby blues," sources said at the time. "She's been having severe mood swings, making it unbearable for anyone to be around her. One minute she's sending Ryan videos of their daughter, and then the next she won't accept his calls."

The sources also claimed that she had been resistant to any of her boyfriend's attempts to help her.

"Ryan wants to make things better and even suggested they go see someone for help," the sources added. "But Eva won't go. She doesn't think there's a problem."
