The Aussies of 5 Seconds of Summer just returned from a promotional trip to Japan and they have already gotten back into the groove of hitting the studio to record more new music.

Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin have been super busy in and out of the recording studio since 2015 began.

On March 3, Hood may have shared a photo of himself experiencing "Jertlerg" as he put it, but that didn't slow him or his three bandmates down from heading back into the studio to make more musical magic.

Also, on March 3, the band's Twitter account dished new songs were in fact being listened to. A bunch of monkey face emojis with their eyes covered were part of the tweet since the excitement could not be contained.

Then, on Wednesday the band's Twitter account shared a photo of the guys in the studio along with a few of the songwriters and producers they're working with for their next studio album.

Hemmings also shared a photo from the studio and by the looks of it they're all intently focused on listening to whatever song is playing.

"IN LOVE, with the new tunes we've written..." Irwin gushed on Twitter before fangirling a little with, "UGH I DIED, IM DEAD".

It appears as though the band is really stoked with what they've whipped up in the studio so far.
