Fifty Shades of Grey fans have been anxiously waiting for more details surround the film's new sequel Fifty Shades Darker. While there isn't much to tell as of now, it has been confirmed that Jamie Dornan will be returning to the big screen to reprise his role as billionaire businessman Christian Grey.

Production For 'Fifty Shades Darker' Should Begin Soon

This news comes as a big surprise after rumors that Dornan was planning to bail on the Fifty Shades franchise took over Internet back in February.

Luckily those rumors have to been put to bed for good, and it has been reported that the actor will be receiving $12 million dollars to star in film's sequels.

On Tuesday, the Daily Star UK reported that, "The Irish heart-throb will pocket a whopping £4.5million after producers begged him to appear in the remaining two flicks of the saucy series."

"Jamie has signed the deal and he's thrilled, the money on offer was just too good," a source told the site. "He's been really worried that he will get typecast as Christian Grey and it will do his long-term career ambitions damage."

Dornan is reportedly set to make $6.92 million each for the upcoming blockbuster hits.

With the much anticipated wait of the Fifty Shades Darker sequel, fans are eager to find out more details about the production and a possible release date, but according to sources, production has been delayed due to an ongoing feud between E.L. James and Sam Taylor- Johnson.

Fifty Shades Darker is set to be released some time in the near future. Official release dates have yet to be confirmed, so be sure to check in for more updates.
