NBC invites viewers to dine with them once more starting June 4 at 10 p.m. ET.

The third season will open with "Antipasto," the appetizer for the 13-episode run. Picking up in the wake of the Hannibal's bloody "Mizumono" dinner party, the premiere will follow Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) across the Atlantic. Abigail Hobbs, its seems, was the only victim to meet her demise, and Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) will soon be hot on the malicious psychiatrist's trail.

"After the shocking events of the season finale, Hannibal is on the run in Europe - accompanied by his psychiatrist Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) - sporting a new identity, but servicing the same insatiable appetite," NBC teased. "As the lives of Will, Jack (Laurence Fishburne) and Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) converge toward Hannibal again, their deadly dance turns in startling and unexpected ways, and nothing will ever be the same again."

After focusing on French and Japanese cuisine through seasons 1 and 2, Bryan Fuller's psychological thriller will take on an Italian bent for season 3. "Antipasto" will be quickly followed by "Primavera" and "Secondo."
