Johnny Lewis, 'Sons Of Anarchy' Actor Found Dead, Suspected Of Killing 81-Year-Old & Cat

Actor Johnny Lewis, who briefly dated Katy Perry and had appeared in "Sons of Anarchy" and on "The Runaways" with Kristen Stewart, was found dead on Sept. 26 and is suspected in the murder of an elderly woman.

Investigators are trying to determine if Lewis committed suicide when he fell off the roof of a home in Los Feliz where Katherine Davis and her cat were both found dead.

Lewis is suspected of killing Davis, who was his landlord, and beating her cat to death prior to his fall.

LAPD made the discovery when they went to the home to follow up on several noise complaints. Authorities had received calls that a woman, likely Davis, screamed in her home.

When officers arrived, witnesses told police Lewis fought two men outside of Davis' home after they heard her screams. He was seen climbing up to the roof of her home shortly after the fight and later found dead in her driveway.

"He appeared to have died from some type of fall, either from the stairway, or from the balcony, or from one of the roofs," LAPD Commander Andrew Smith told ABC News' KABC. "The best we're piecing together now is that it appears that some type of altercation occurred inside of the house resulting in the death of the woman."

After Lewis "had an altercation with a couple of neighbors, (he) ran back into the house and by the time we got here, he had fallen or had somehow died on the driveway," Smith added.

Davis appeared to have been killed by blunt force trauma to the head, according to Daily Mail.

Lewis is considered the only suspect in the murder according to a report. He had recently been sprung from LA County jail, on Sept. 21 for several unknown criminal offenses. He had also been in rehab for drug abuse. LA police told TMZ  the "Sons Of Anarchy" actor may have been high on PCP or meth when the incidents occurred because the two people he fought, a handyman and a neighbor, said he displayed "superhuman strength."

Lewis dated Perry in 2006 when he appeared on "The O.C." with Mischa Barton. 

The Los Angeles bred 28-year-old played Kip "Half Sack" Epps on two seasons of FX's hit drama "Sons of Anarchy" and had a brief appearance in "The Runaways" with Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart.
