In a recent interview, Julianna Margulies, who plays Alicia on The Good Wife, dished about her character's dynamic with Peter (Chris Noth) in the upcoming episodes of season 6.

Showrunners Talk Possibility Of Kalinda Dying In Upcoming Episode

Margulies spoke to Vulture at the Paley Fest, which took place on the evening of March 7. "I think what you will see - if she wins - I'm speculating," she said. "You would see more of a competition between her and her husband, because she's in his world. I can't tell you more because I don't want to ruin it, but it gets really good, and there is that weird competition between the two."

This doesn't actually come as a surprising revelation as the previously released synopsis for an upcoming episode, titled 'False Feed,' suggested that Alicia might be getting down and dirty with her campaigning and choosing to attack her estranged husband, Governor Peter Florrick to win favor for her candidacy.

Diane And Cary To Question Alicia's Motives In Season 6

Alicia didn't think up this move and is spurred, or rather forced, to take this step as Frank Prady (David Hyder Pearce) decides to criticise Florrick to strengthen his campaign. As the campaign has been moving along, Alicia is getting sucked into vile political games. The last episode dealt with her trying to solicit money from a sleazy wealthy man for her campaign and now she will have to meet the stakes set by Prady.

Here's the official synopsis for the episode:

"When Frank Prady decides to go after Governor Florrick as a campaign tactic, Alicia is faced with the decision of whether or not to attack Peter's record as well. Also, when Florrick/Agos/Lockhart take on the case of a man paralyzed by a malfunctioning gun created on a 3D printer, they call on Kurt to testify as an expert witness, which leads to a rift between Diane and her husband."

The Good Wife returned after a brief hiatus on March 1.

False Feed will air on CBS on March 15.
