Jones, who plays Coach Beiste on Glee, spoke with People about the ending of the show and the general feeling on the set.

"It was horrible," she said, recalling the final day on set. "It was wonderful and sad all at the same time, because of everything we've accomplished. Everybody was crying, hugging. The cast and crew, we all spent a lot of time together."

The actress said that she "took Coach Beiste's ring" from the set, explaining, "He had this huge ring - I believe the guys that made the Super Bowl rings made this one. It says 'Beiste' on the side of it and 'Shannon Beiste' inscribed on the inside. I loved that thing from the first day I got it."

Jones has gone through a fascinating storyline in the final season of Glee. Coach Beiste announced to Sue (Jane Lynch) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) that she would be transitioning to being a man. Beiste then returned as Sheldon Beiste and was mostly accepted by the McKinley High students and staff.

There are only three episodes left to air of Glee but Jones already has a new job lined up. She will reportedly be in the next episode of Disney's Doc McStuffins.

Glee airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
