Fans of Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) may be in luck when Netflix's Orange Is the New Black returns for season 3.

'Orange Is the New Black's Bennett Getting Flashback Episode In Season 3?

Prepon took a photo of herself and posted it to Instagram this week, with the actress holding a sign for all the Orange Is the New Black fans out there. The actress is smiling as she holds the message "JUNE 12!! #OITNB #ALEXANDPIPER GET READY!"

In her caption she wrote, "Season 3, here we come!!! #Oitnb #alexvause #getready."

Her #AlexandPiper hashtag could be indicative of the two characters getting back together officially in season 3. Fans will remember that Piper orchestrated Alex's return to prison at the end of season 2 by getting her best friend Polly (Maria Dizzia) to say Alex violated her probation.

With Alex presumably back in Litchfield as a prisoner, it's possible that she will get with Piper again. Prepon's hashtag certainly provides hope for dedicated fans who want to see the two together.

Prepon will be a series regular again for season 3 after being downgraded to special guest star status in season 2. The actress had to fulfill other commitments and was only able to appear in four episodes last year. Now she is returning to what will likely be a similar amount of screen time as she had in season 1.

It was recently announced that Orange Is the New Black season 3 would be released on Netflix on Friday, June 12. All 13 episodes will be available at once.
