Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney has shown her followers that she is a wild gal based on her latest social media photo.

On Sunday, the gold medal winner took to her Instagram page to post a black and white snapshot of herself. She stands outside in a long T-shirt that goes down to her waist with the words "Wild One" written across. She adds on a white coat as her legs and feet show.

The pic is captioned, "you already know."

Most of Maroney's Instagram photos show her in random outfits, one of them being leotards since she tends to wear those during her tumbling practice. In an interview with Teen Vogue, she mentioned how she chooses her leotards.

"For our team leotards, we get about ten to choose from to actually compete in at the Olympics," she said. "We try to pick something really American, so that's how we ended up with the red leotard to compete in for the team. For individual, you pick your own style. I chose white for the vault because you never see white leotards! I thought it was really classy and really pretty."

Maroney then said that her style outside of the gym is similar to pop star Miley Cyrus.

"I really like crop tops," she said. "I like how you can dress them up or down, with jeans or a skirt and heels. I like to be showy and cute. I don't want to be in just a jacket and pants and boots."
