Law & Order: SVU will return to Wednesday nights on March 25 with a brand new episode called Parole Violation. During the new episode, Detective Carisi's (Peter Scanavino) family drama will become a huge topic of discussion.

The couple is also preparing for the birth of their unborn child but when Tommy goes back to his old ways and accuses his parole officer (Molly Price) of rape, the detective is forced to find out if the acquisitions are true or simply one of Tommy's crazy stunts.

Scanavino recently spoke with E! News to share a few teasers about the upcoming episode and he said that viewers will get a chance to learn about his family's back story.

"I think he's coming from a really interesting place. He is new and doesn't have the experience all the other detectives have and I think in general, most of the other detectives come from some kind of family where there's a problem: There's an abusive father, there's a sister, there's whatever. And I think kind of the interesting thing about Carisi is he comes from a family that's very close-knit and very tight...I've got sister and I love them, it's a tight family."

Law and Order: SVU airs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. on NBC. Viewers can watch a behind the scenes clip of the cast doing a Q&A in the video below.
