The Big Bang Theory fans are about to meet another member of the Wolowitz family in the form of Howard's (Simon Helberg) younger half-brother.

Matt Bennett (Victorious) is slated to guest star as Howard's half-brother in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, according to E! News. Bennett will play Josh, who is described as someone who is essentially the opposite of Howard.

Josh is making his debut on the April 9 episode of The Big Bang Theory titled The Fortification Implementation. He will reportedly be showing up on Howard's doorstep unexpectedly, which may make for some awkward tension.

Bennett is reportedly only going to appear in the one episode this season.

This is all part of Howard's overarching storyline through this second half of season 8. Howard's mother Mrs. Wolowitz (the late Carol Ann Susi) died during the Feb. 19 episode of the sitcom. The young nerd got a call from his aunt, with Howard mournfully telling his friends "My mom died. That was my aunt, Ma took a nap. She never woke up."

Susi had famously never appeared onscreen as Mrs. Wolowitz as it was a recurring gag that the audience simply heard her raspy voice yelling at Howard and got the full effect. Susi passed away last November from cancer at the age of 62.

The Big Bang Theory airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, in addition to repeats at 9 p.m.
