On Thursday, Look to the Stars reported that Olivia Munn is going to be honored alongside Julia Roberts at the 40th Anniversary Gracies Awards.

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) honors exemplary women and men in the media and entertainment industry, and this year Munn will be one of those honorees.

The 40th anniversary this year will support educational programs, charitable activities, public service and scholarship campaigns that benefit women in the media.

Munn will be honored alongside other "luminaries" like Julia Roberts, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Mae Whitman.

When announcing the people to be honored, the Foundation Chair, Kristen Welch, said:

"Though we receive hundreds of submissions from all over the country every year, it never ceases to amaze us of all the great work that has been done to further highlight women in media. We are thrilled to honor such smart, thoughtful and inspirational individuals, organizations and programming this year."

Munn will receive the award for Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama for her role in HBO's The Newsroom.

When asked how the final day on set was in a Rolling Stone interview, Munn said:

"There was a last day in Los Angeles and a last day in New York; luckily for me, I got to be here in Manhattan for my final scene, so I was at both. There was one last shot that Thom (Sadoski, who plays her romantic interest Don Keefer) and I had to do, and it was super-late at night; we were ready to pack it in. Then we found out that Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer were going to be shooting the very last scene of the series, so we ran over to their set and waited - and got to watch them wrap the whole series. It was pretty amazing."

The awards will be held Tuesday, May 19, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
