While the country star has been busy this month filming Fox's American Idol, his wife and actress Nicole Kidman has been busy with a production of her own. The Oscar-winning star is currently in Los Angeles filming the upcoming thriller The Secret In Their Eyes.

According to the Daily Mail on Wednesday, Kidman was locked in a passionate embrace with 12 Years a Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofer.

In the scene they were filming, DA aide Claire (Kidman) and FBI agent Ray (Ejiofer) sought comfort in one another, and shared a kiss, after Ray's car exploded.

Helmed by director Billy Ray (The Hunger Games, Captain Phillips), the film follows Claire as she tries to solve the murder of a friend's teenage daughter. Dean Norris and Julia Roberts are also set to star.

Production began on Jan. 26 and has kept Kidman in California for over two months. Urban has likewise been busy with work, though he and Kidman are expected to return to their home later this year

When they aren't busy filming or out on the road touring, the couple lives in Nashville with their two young daughters, six-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith Margaret.

The Secret In Their Eyes is set to be released in 2016.
