Most new moms don't particularly enjoy sleepless nights with their newborn kids-but actress Eva Mendes doesn't appear to be one of those moms.

The 41-year-old actress, who welcomed daughter Esmeralda Amada with boyfriend Ryan Gosling back in September, recently opened up in a new interview about how much she has actually enjoyed spending as much time as she possibly can with her little girl-even when it means she loses sleep as a result.

""I'm actually enjoying the sleepless nights because it's bonding with my little girl," she told Women's Health magazine in their April issue.

And though Mendes has been a mom for six months now, she isn't ready to start giving advice to others about how to be a mom, because she doesn't feel she's qualified to dish out such advice yet.

"I don't feel like I've really earned the right," she said. "I want to respect all the moms out there. They're going to be like, 'You know what? You're a few months in. Just shut up.'"

Mendes and Gosling haven't made any plans to marry following having their daughter public, but reports recently claimed that the actress was starting to plan her nuptials to the actor-ones he was very willingly going along with.

"They'll get formally engaged over the summer and don't want a long engagement," a source said, before adding, "Ryan's so amenable right now and completely in love with her and their little girl, and Eva's totally taking advantage of it."
