On Friday, Bookout spoke out in a new interview, explaining why she was not on board with starring alongside Abraham on the MTV series.

“I’m still frustrated by it and it doesn’t have anything to do with Farrah personally,” Bookout explained during a Wetpaint Entertainment interview. “I don’t have any hard feelings towards her, I don’t judge her or anything like that.”

Is Maci Bookout Quitting 'Teen Mom OG?'

When Bookout signed on to return to Teen Mom OG last year, she and the rest of the cast were under the impression that Abraham would not be included, so when producers told her of Abraham's return, the news took her by surprise.

In fact, Bookout was so surprised she reportedly stopped all filming of Bentley at that point, and began considering leaving the show all together.

"There's a fine line in what is appropriate for kids to be around, and when my 6-year-old son is on the show, and they're watching him throw a baseball in the front yard, and then after the commercial break, they're talking about sex toys and sex tapes, to me, it's just not appropriate," Bookout continued. "It's my job to protect him from things he should not be involved with. I'm not going to alter my parenting or change what I think is right for my family just because I'm scared of hurting someone's feelings."

Teen Mom OG premieres on March 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
