In the fourth installment of Christina Retrospective, which can be watched below, Aguilera revealed her favorite lyric from this song and gave an explanation.

"There's a line in the song Beautiful that in the bridge embraces imperfections," Aguilera shared before reciting the lyric.

"No matter where we go. No matter what we do. We're the song inside the tune. Full of beautiful mistakes," Aguilera recited, adding, "And 'beautiful mistakes' is such a contradiction, but such a complimentary juxtaposition of an amazing meaning with so much sentiment and something that's so relatable I think worldwide."

Beautiful earned Aguilera a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2004.

"When I perform that song and I sing those lyrics I truly feel connected to everybody I'm trying to sing to," she shared.

"And I feel that connection no matter where I'm at in the world," she added.

"We all do have insecurities and imperfections that truly make us unique and beautiful and they should be celebrated so I love singing that line," Aguilera dished.
