The 27-year-old singer will be the first black woman to ever headline a Dior campaign. According to Harper's Bazaar on Monday, the singer will be the face of Dior for the upcoming Secret Garden campaign, which will be shot by Steven Klein and take place in Versailles. Both the print and film ads will look at models in luxurious Dior gowns as they move around France's famed gardens.

The singer will be following in the footsteps of award-winning actresses like Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman, all of whom have previously modeled for Dior.

The announcement comes less than a month after the Oscars, where controversy over the nominees inspired a call for more diversity across the entertainment industry.

In addition to modeling for Dior this season, the FourFiveSeconds singer also has a number of high-profile gigs lined up. On March 10 Deadline announced that filmmaker Peter Berg will be helming a documentary about the superstar's life and music over the last decade. In addition, Rihanna will take a stab at acting with the upcoming film, Home.

This doesn't mean the star will be forgoing music altogether this year. On Monday Rolling Stone announced that Rihanna will be performing at the March Madness Music Festival in Indianapolis this April.
