Agents of SHIELD is pulling the Lazarus act once more.

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: May's Bahrain Incident Revealed, Shocking Connection To Skye

For a series that launched with the resurrection of the irreplaceable Coulson (Clark Gregg), it's not surprising that the ABC series will bring back a character that bit the dust in the season 2 premiere - Lucy Lawless' Isabelle Hartley.

Hartley was brought in as Coulson worked to rebuild SHIELD in the immediate wake of the HYDRA takeover but her character didn't last long. After a run in with the obelisk, Hartley lost an arm and ultimately met her demise in a car accident. Despite this, the ill-fated agent will appear in episode 15.

Titled "One Door Closes," the March 31 episode will reintroduce Lawless' character. Unfortunately, it seems rather unlikely that her appearance will take place in the present. Sans Hartley's resurrection, Lawless will most likely be part of a flashback or previous regarding.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how she plays into the upcoming plot -

"War comes to Coulson's doorstep in a way he never anticipated as shocking revelations are brought to light, and Skye struggles to control her new abilities but will soon make a decision that irrevocably changes her life," ABC recently teased.
