They might be one of the most talked-about newlyweds in the celebrity world right now, but according to their good pal Rande Gerber, George and Amal Clooney are taking things in stride. Cindy Crawford's husband recently opened about the couple's relationship and how they are dealing with their marriage in the spotlight.

According to the London Standard on Wednesday, Rande said that Amal and George are brushing off divorce and pregnancy rumors and doing what they do best - and that's concentrating on themselves.

He said, "But they are dealing with it brilliantly. Obviously George is used to it, so he knows how it rolls. We are stealth. We have some good moves."

He added about how they try to stay away from the Hollywood limelight by explaining, "But do you go out as much to public events? No, you don't. You try to stay a little bit low-key until it blows over."

Rande also said Amal has gotten along very well with his wife, Cindy. He said, "They are very compatible: both strong, intelligent, committed women."

The couple shares a "casamigos" or "house of friends" in Mexico, where they spend a lot of time together.

He explained, "Originally we were going to build just one big house for us, but George was single at the time and we have the family, and Cindy said: 'Hmm. I don't think that's such a good idea. Let's build two houses.' It's all still on one property, so it's like breakfast at George's place, lunch at mine... It feels like one big party."

George and Amal tied the knot in Venice, Italy last September.
