While Kat Von D is known for her knowledge on unique beauty traits, she's created some terrible outrage after giving a name to a lipstick that fans are not happy with.

On Wednesday, UPI reported that the tattoo artist has called the lipstick from her Sephora collection "Underage Red." Twitter users have apparently expressed how much they don't approve of this name saying it's "inappropriate" and "creepy."

Von D, on the other hand, explained her reason for this title due to something that supposedly took place when she was younger.

"@KatyK9Love 'Underage Red' was inspired by my nostalgic experience of not being able to get into a concert when I was underage," she wrote on Twitter last Tuesday.

The username that she linked back to says that the page doesn't exist.

Depending on how critics continue to respond, there may be a possibility that this makeup could be pulled from shelves since that's happened to Von D before. According to UPI, she named a lipstick "Celebutard" in 2013. It apparently got removed so that leaves some insight if this new shade of red will be taken away as well.

In a Huffington Post blog, a writer mentioned how the word 'Celebutard' should not be used as a way to sell makeup.

The first sentence of the blog reads, "Sephora cosmetics has a funky line of lipsticks under the Kat Von D name called Painted ink. That's cool. One of the names of a creamy buff color is 'Celebutard.' Definitely not cool, funny or acceptable."
