The coolest couple of the alternative art scene is prepping to bring their biggest creative project to life! Author Neil Gaiman and musician Amanda Palmer just announced that they are pregnant via social media on March 19.

Palmer is three months pregnant, and her baby bulge is very visible in a beautiful, sihouetted, sepia-toned picture she posted of herself on Instagram, stating:

"guess what? i'm pregnant. due september. super special thanks to neil himself"

The credits for the aesthetically profound picture go to Gaiman, as he also took to Twitter linking to Palmer's Instagram account:

"I just took a photograph of beautiful, three months pregnant @amandapalmer: https://instagram.com/p/0YdmSpQW69/"

The couple had been dating since 2009 and got married in November 2010. The couple also announced their engagement via Twitter and are known for their digital prowess.  Although Palmer has done nothing too significant lately, she created a huge stir in the music-verse with her crowd-funded album with The Grand Theft Orchestra, as she didn't pay the musicians she asked to gig with her as she toured for the record.

Gaiman has collaborated with Michael Reaves and Mallory Reaves in the final novel of the InterWorld trilogy, Eternity's Wheel, which is due out on May 19. The author's last novel, The Ocean at the End of the Lane received great reviews.

Gaiman already has three children from his previous marriage to Mary McGrath.

Watch this funny track, 'I Google You' Palmer recorded with Gaiman, a true testament to their love:
