Shayanna Jenkins's Will Testify Against Aaron Hernandez In Court

On Wednesday, the prosecution team used Hernandez's in-house jail phone calls as evidence in the case to prove that he may be hiding something and sending coded messages to his relatives.

Yahoo Sports reported that when talking to his aunt, Tanya Singleton, Hernandez was recorded saying, "Hey, [watch] what you say."

New Evidence Emerges In The Aaron Hernandez Murder Trail

The transcripts shown in court are from 23 conversations Hernandez had with his aunt, his fiancée Shayanna Jenkins, and others, including his friend, NFL star Mike Pouncey.

While most of the phone calls were harmless, some of them are rather telling and the prosecution wants to have them admitted into evidence to create some speculation about Hernandez's role in the murder.

According to the site the defense team filed a motion to have the jailhouse calls removed from evidence claiming that they violate Hernandez's Fifth, Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment rights.

Judge E. Susan Garsh has yet to make a ruling, but if they transcripts become suppressed, the prosecution team may have lost a valuable piece of evidence to tie Hernandez to the death of Lloyd.

More of the transcripts can be read here.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges and he currently remains in jail without bail.
