"One Direction" member Liam Payne said he worries about his "best mate" Zayn Malik, but Malik said he is concerned about Harry Styles.

Guys, what's with all of the worrying?

In August, Zayn Malik of "One Direction" quit Twitter for 48 hours because he was "sick of all the useless opinions and hate."

After Malik posted a picture of him and his girlfriend, Perrie Edwards, and his family celebrating the Islamic holiday of Eid, Malik received racist remarks via Twitter. The anti-Islamic remarks deeply hurt him.

"I believe that your religion should be between you and whoever your belief is in," Malik told The Sun (via The Mirror).

The 19-year-old star continued: "I don't think you should stick it in peoples faces. I think you should just keep it to yourself and that's how I've always been with it. I just had seen a few things that had annoyed me.I thought we had moved away from that and we're living in the 21st century and people could accept people from different religions. It shouldn't have wound me up but it did."

Malik also deleted his account because of, as he wrote on Twitter "all the rumours of me smoking weed and cheating. i dont need to read any of that negativity."

Fellow band member Liam Payne told The Sun that the Twitter abuse continues to affect him. "I don't think he's quite adjusted to it yet, I'm sure he'll get it. He's my best mate. I've got to look out for him."

Even though Malik is stil adjusting to fame, he worries most about his bandmate Harry Styles because he is a constant tabloid target.

"He is the baby of the group but people seem to forget that because of the way that he is and that he is so charming."

But Styles isn't always able to brush off the rumors and nasty comments.

"So it is a little bit upsetting sometimes if you see him with the weight of the world on his shoulders. It does annoy us a bit. He's a young kid and people are just giving him grief for no reason."
