Jamie and Claire may be on the same side, but that doesn't mean they'll always see eye-to-eye on Outlander.

Is Jamie & Claire's 'Outlander' Romance Enhanced By Actors' Real-Life Bond?

It looks like sacrifice and disagreement might just be ahead on the Starz drama. On Wednesday series writer Matt Roberts teased a line which Jamie (Sam Heughan) will say to Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in an upcoming episode.

Jamie Will Be Skinny Dipping On 'Outlander' This Season?

"But mo nighean donn ye canna..." is a Gaelic phrase and, in English, means "But my brown haired lass you cannot..." Tender nature of the phrasing seems like a classic Jamie line and suggests some difficult times are bound to be ahead for these tormented lovers.

So is Claire planning on leaving Jamie for her first husband, Frank (Tobias Meanies back in the 1940s)? Or is she trying risk her life on a dangerous mission which will save them both?

The context of the shared quote might not be easy to read, but the emotion behind it is unmistakable. Jamie is deeply and undoubtably devoted to Claire. He would do anything for her just as she would do anything to protect him.

Outlander will return on Starz for the remainder of its first season Saturday, April 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
