Kristen Stewart goes topless in a few scenes of her other upcoming film "On the Road."
The 22-year-old is trying to break the mold of her most famous role, the sweet and good-natured Bella Swan from the "Twilight" film series, by stripping down for the beatnik film.
Stewart plays Marylou, a freespirit in the hip Beat generation who sleeps with not one, but two men she goes on a road trip with.
Shortly after the movie screened at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, Stewart said going topless was "so not a big deal."
"I love pushing. I love scaring myself," said Stewart." I've always wanted to get as close to an experience as I could."
"I'm usually self-conscious about running around town with my face hanging out," added the actress. "But I got to live more in those four weeks than I ever usually do in my life."
"On the Road" stars Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kristen Dunst and Elizabeth Moss.
The movie is a film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's 1957 classic novel.
Digital Spy reviewed the movie and revealed the film offers "*sses and breasts aplenty."
"On the Road," which is produced by Francis Ford Coppola and directed by Walter Salles, is set to open in the U.S. on Dec. 21.
Perez Hilton obtained a clip of a scene where Stewart is riding in the car topless with her co-stars.
